What can I say, Ruthie Knox has left me speechless once again.

I loved the story in this book and the chemistry between characters. It was very entertaining and romantic. I liked the way Nev expressed his love for Cath via his art. That is a truly unique way of saying I LOVE YOU.

It was very sad what happened to Cath in her youth and very callous for Winston to just fling it out there like that(the prick). I almost laughed at how she took out her shirt in front of those people in the bus stop if her telling her story hadn't had me at the edge of tears(I think that is what saved me the water works).

The only thing I hated of the book is that is a stand alone and I won't be able to see what's come of Mary Catherine and Neville.

Review: A Vampire's Salvation by Virna DePaul

A Vampire's Salvation

Series: Beyond Human (#1)

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Rating: 3 Stars

This was a really sweet read with some mysteries that will let you wanting more and speculating as to what is to come.

I really liked the chemestry between Jack and Frankie although I was a bit confused at the beginning. What with that Lassiter dude and all.

The only thing that didn't let me give this book more rating was the fact that it left a lot of details out as to this vampire culture and how the mating ceremony is realized.

I just hope that the next book goes deeper into this and gives us more to look forward to.

What can I say. I love me some highlander and Maya has deliver once again in this awesome second installment of The Montgomerys and Armstrongs.

There is much to be said for a man who can see past the horrible things and to the soul of a wounded woman and what she really wants. What her heart really desires. And make dreams come true and restore hope when it's waning.

This new story of The Montgomerys and Armstrongs is as good as the first and we get more insight as to Eveline's capture by Ian McHugh. I really can't say much about the book that won't spoil it but I'm going to say this. I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!

I'm anxious for the next installment.

ARC Review: Hope Burns by Jaci Burton

This is a story of second chances and how; even when the head doesn't want, the heart still holds hope when the love it's true and pure.

The story starts with Molly coming back to Hope for her sister Emma and Luke's wedding, the characters of Hope Flames the first book of the series. She hasn't been in Hope for many years and is dreading coming back but more importantly seeing Carter again. He is her old school flame and their past together has left hurt in her heart.

Carter holds hope that Molly will one day forgive him for been a young stupid teen and breaking her heart with his careless words. But it is not an easy journey for this two even when they still have feelings for one another.

And of course there is that event that most occur so the heroine has to stay so the story can develop.

What I like about this book is that it has a long story, not every other page involves sex, and that the sex scenes are descriptive but not to long. For example they are not 3 chapters long. Also there is a lot of time in between. The characters are not having sex 10 a day and/or every day of the week. That gets boring real fast.

Jaci Burton still has the ability to capture my attention from page one and my heart from the first time their eyes meet. It is very difficult to put down one of her books but I have two preschoolers that need my attention. Dang you Jaci for making such good stories (but I guess that's why you sale ^_^). I can't wait to read Chelsea and Bash story, their characters caught my attention in this book.

Review: Branded as Trouble by Lorelei James

Branded as Trouble

Review: 5 Stars

Well I can really say that Mrs. James is one awesome writer. I love the situations she present in the stories (as they are not the same boring scenarios told in a different way) and the way the characters have to go about solving them, mostly because it's a problem of their own making. In this next chapter in the McKay family it is Colt's shot at a HEA if he can make everything work out on his personal and professional life and prove not only to those around him but to himself that above all he in not the same self destructive guy he once was.

In the mean time India has to try and keep her hands but mostly her heart away from Colt. She has her own issued to deal with and prove to herself that she is worthy of Colt and the love he offers.

I cried and laughed and got mad, but must of all I fell in love.
